How we are paid Insurance We dont charge any fees for advising on or arranging insurance. We are paid a commission by the insurance companies for doing this. The commission we receive will be clearly stated in the illustrations we provide you with. Mortgages We charge a fee of 250 on application. We are also paid a commission by some lenders. The fee is non-refundable when a mortgage application fails due to your nondisclosureof material facts or misrepresentation of the facts. The fee is also non-refundable if you decide to pull out after we have applied for the mortgage. Should the purchase fall through due to no fault on your part, we will carry the fee over for a subsequent application up to an overall maximum of three applications a fourth application would require the fee to be paid again regardless of the reason for the failureof the first three applications. If we apply for you and cant get you a mortgage even though you have supplied us with all the correct facts we will refund the fee. Sometimes the first application fails forreasons neither of us can control in these circumstances, we would insist on trying again with another lender before we refund a fee; this may mean that the mortgage becomes more expensive than originally hoped should you choose to proceed.
