The company was set up in 1999 and has beenhelpingprofessional clients (dentists,doctors,vets and other self employed professionals) with their mortgage needs with Louis working in conjunction with the clients accountants to understand their tax position to maximise their situation.
In addition the company has also assisted local clients with straightforward house purchase/remortgage and also those looking to help with their pension planning or investment portfolio by owning buy to let properties to rent out.
The team at the Mortagage Explorer are focused on the client and the service and communication they receive from the initial consultation,application to offer to completion of the mortgage. We also ensurewe conductregular reviews for the clients of their situation (e.g when a fixed rate product term is coming to an end).
I alsowork tothis ethos and have seen the referrals existing clients pass onto Louis because they are happy with the solutions and service and the understanding of their position and am looking forward to continuing his hard work in helping clients having also come from a similar background helping IT clients (contractors) with experience both in the broker market and the corporate environment (HSBC ,Nationwide).

Qualifications: I have been a mortgage adviser for about 20 years (same age as my eldest daughter!) and as described I have experience in both local mortgage broker firms and the corporate environment but I know from experience I am most comfortable working in an environment where clients (can) become friends and I am able to offer honest and trusted advice in plain English (non jargon) way with the ability to select products for both mortgages and protection from the whole of the market and therefore feel truly independent.
I also feel extremely satisfied when I see the client move into their dream home or save money (via a remortgage or debt consolidation) via a mortgage that I have advised and recommended or they say they feel more secure about their financial position by wanting to proceed with a recommendation I have made for life/critical illness cover or income protection.
I am CeMap qualified and hold a Diploma in Financial Regulated Protection.
